Where does the OliTouch store my documents?
OliTouch has the added advantage of storing your documents in two ways. Firstly the OliTouch is capable storing your documents on the hard disk drive. The OliTouch has a160 GB Hard Disk Drivewhich can hold over 100,000 documents (depending on size, resolution etc).
Secondly the OliTouch can store your documents via the Cloud. When purchasing the OliTouch, Cloud storage can be setup straight away or when it’s needed. The Cloud storage can hold up to 50,000 documents at a time. Once the initial limit is used up simply purchase more space.
What is the Cloud, and how does it work with OliTouch?
The basic understanding for the term ‘Cloud’ is computing over a network, typically the internet. The OliTouch uses the Cloud in this way to store documents on backed up servers to store your documents safely. If your premises where to suffer a flood or fire you would be safe in the knowledge that your documents can be retrieved with just a ‘Click’ away and your business can be up and running that bit quicker.
What formats can my documents be stored in?
The OliTouch will store documents in PDF format. However the OliTouch can be accessed via other PC’s on your network opening up storage format options to TIFF, PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, and PPTX.
How long do the screens last on the OliTouch?
As the OliTouch is based on an EPOS system, the machines are exactly the same as you see in bars, restaurants and shops. This makes the OliTouch really robust and reliable as they have to be able to with stand many operations a day.
I currently have a scanner; can the OliTouch be configured to it?
Yes, the OliTouch can be connected through USB or Ethernet to most makes and models.
