Silent operation and compatibility with the main operating systems and applications ensure easy operation and adaptability to any work environment. The 4.3″ vertically adjustable touch-screen operator panel enhances usability and facilitates function setting.

PRODUCTIVITY AND EFFICIENCY

The d-Color MF3000 provides a 30 ppm print and copy speed on colour and b/w jobs alike, and also when using the duplex function and ADF.

The Super G3 fax ensures easy document transmission on analog lines and from PCs, with the PC-Fax function.

The 800 MHz processor, standard 120 GB hard disk and 1.5 GB memory guarantee rapid, efficient management of heavy workloads.

The standard paper tray and the by-pass, as well as the duplex unit, support grammages up to 210 g/m2. Maximum paper capacity, when the device is fitted with two optional 500-sheet trays, is 1,350 cut sheets.

CONNECTIVITY

The colour scanner acquires documents at a speed of 30 opm for transmission in scan-to-mail, scan-to-FTP and scan-to-SMB modes. LDAP support and an internal address book for up to 2000 contacts assist selection of document recipients. Scan-to-USB and direct printing from USB functions allow users to scan or print documents directly on the MFP, independently of the PC.

SECURITY

The standard d-Color MF3000 comes with a front-back ADF, a duplex unit, a Gigabit Ethernet board and a highly advanced controller supporting PCL, PostScript and XPS emulations.

The device guarantees state-of-the-art security functionalities for both local and network applications. System access can be regulated by authenticating users from the control panel or through the network, while the secure printing function allows confidential printing of classified documents. Encryption and the hard disk overwrite function provide further data protection from improper use. Network security is guaranteed by an encryption system with IPsec, IPfiltering, IPP Over SSL protocols and by IEEE 802.1x client authentication.

QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENT

The d-Color MF3000 uses the same polymer toner as Olivetti A3 colour systems. The toner’s chemical composition guarantees top quality image colour and text sharpness, as well as long-term no-fade printing.

In line with environmental concerns, the d-Color MF3000 offers low-temperature toner fixing, to minimise warm-up time and cut energy consumption. Care for the environment also takes the form of extensive use of recycled materials and zero ozone-emission parts, together with solutions to limit toner and energy use.

CONTROL AND INTEGRATION

The d-Color MF3000 software simplifies remote monitoring and management to optimise integration in office workflows. Accounts and user profiles can be created locally and remotely for full cost control and system access.
