Working towards a better environment.
At EBM we’re working with manufacturers Epson and Kyocera.
Kyocera
As Kyocera has been designing eco-conscious technology since 1992. Kyocera design with the environment in mind to deliver highly reliable products that reduce the use of natural resources and drive down CO2.
The expertise in long-life ceramics lies at the heart of our technology so customers can benefit from a low total cost of ownership. This focus on long-life, sustainable components and long-lasting consumables reduces the frequency of shipping replacement parts or putting an EBM service engineer on the road.
Key points:
Eco toner saves energy
Energy efficient power modes
Advanced power management
Energy saving design
Ecological packaging
Easy to recycle
Single-use plastic reduction
Long-life consumables
Epson
“A worldwide switch from laser to inkjet printers could reduce energy emissions by 52.6%” The earth is facing numerous environmental challenges. The answer to these challenges lies in every person and every company thinking about changing behaviour. And we can all play our part.
Epson are focusing on changing the way we consume energy. Switching to Heat-Free Technology, which uses no heat in the ink ejection process and delivers lower power consumption. Starting one page at a time, every time we all print.
A worldwide switch to inkjet could deliver global electricity savings in excess of 2,240 GWh per year equivalent to approximately:
1,300,000 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide per year, or:
280,175 cars driven for one year.
353 wind turbines running for a year.
3,052.033 barrels of oil consumed.
Calculated based on forecasted energy consumption per region and equivalent carbon dioxide emission savings (adapted from EPA GHG calculator)
