These 3 models, which provide speeds of 22ppm, 28ppm and 36ppm, respectively, in colour and mono. Are part of a new generation of dynamic A3 colour MFPs that have taken the very best of what their predecessors had to offer and have greatly improved them.
Their new 9”capacitive operator panel features the same “flick and drag” technology currently reserved for touch tablet PCs and Smartphones. And a flat function hierarchy which means users no longer have to drill-down through countless sub-menus; making the whole process much quicker. Another impressive application is the panel’s real-time preview capability. So that users can check, delete and even rotate the individual pages before they’re printed.
These models have taken the idea of simple paper handling and propelled it to new heights for the office environment. Not only do all the models in the new range handle paper weights up to 256gm2. From all paper trays but also through the Automatic Duplex Feeder too. They can handle paper sizes of up to SRA3, can print banners up to 1.2 metres in length, through the by-pass tray. And they all provide a very useful mode called “Carbon Copy” which means you can simulate a carbon copy on different media from multiple trays.
There is also a wealth of finishing options on all models including a 20-page booklet finisher. With automatic crease-fold, saddle-stitching and cover finishing, up to 209 g/m2, alongside other stapling, hole-punching and sorting options.
These 3 new models have been designed to provide high-speed scanning at up to 80 ipm (images per minute). With the optional DF-624 Document Feeder installed, at 100% productivity, so no speed is lost in the process.
An important feature of the new models is that scanned-in PDFs can now be encrypted and different levels of encryption added to enable improved security. Which is ideal if you have to send secure data to a customer. This is normally quite an expensive option on competitor models.
Through these new A3 MFPs, users can scan originals straight into PowerPoint.x, which saves a huge amount of time. Proving just how powerful these models are, they also support PDF; XPS; TIFF, JPEG and OOXML (Office Open XML including docx/xlsx/pptx) file formats. This makes it is possible to print directly via a Web Browser Utility without using a Print Driver, or print directly via a Memory Stick.
In addition, mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets can print directly to these models via a Mobile Printing App. (Wi-Fi network connection environment and Wi-Fi Router required / Bluetooth MFP option also available for Mobile Phone users).
The Plus versions, of these models feature slight amendments to the operator panel and to the i-Options. Where OOXML format files convert to include scan to Excel and Word and direct print for e-mail attached files.
These 3 models, which provide speeds of 22ppm, 28ppm and 36ppm. Respectively, in colour and mono, are part of a new generation of dynamic A3 colour MFPs that have taken the very best of what their predecessors had to offer and have greatly improved them.
