EBM supporting the Witham Community Hub

It was a great pleasure to supply and drive a van in this years Witham carnival 2022. EBM supporting the Witham Community Hub at this years carnival the theme this year was heroes, so they came up with the A Team, and used faces of the trustees.

The Witham Hub is the home of the Witham community fridge, here’s just a few of the things that have been achieved:

Since lockdown 1 in 2020 we have carried out over 85,000 interventions
We delivered free food to 550 families per week
We developed a scheme to support families on low incomes
We are a Trusted Partner Organisation working closely with Essex County Council, Braintree District Council, Witham
Town Council, NHS, Provide, Community 360 and more
We have saved over 80 tonnes of food from going to landfill since October 2019
We have completed over 1200 collections of food from supermarkets since October 2019
