Marketing & Administration Assistant

Full-time, 18-month contract with the opportunity to progress to a permanent role

Duties & Responsibilities

Marketing

  • Implementing monthly marketing plans, covering the entire marketing mix
  • Monitoring social media channels and updating/responding as appropriate
  • Running regular direct mail campaigns and reporting on our CRM system
  • Drafting and distributing press releases, and recording EBM’s press clippings
  • Creating/Editing hard copy flyers and other hard copy collateral when required
  • Preparing internal communications, including our monthly internal newsletter
  • Maintaining the marketing budget and processing invoices

            Customer Care

  • Corresponding with customers by email, live web chat and telephone
  • Allocating work to our engineers, making sure they get to customers on time
  • Ordering, receiving and sending out stock
  • Keeping all records up to date and accurate
  • Occasional assistance with deliveries (includes helping to lift machines)

            Other

  • Assisting with project work
  • Organising of staff socials and support for team meetings/presentations
  • Maintaining stock of EBM merchandise, business cards and branded clothing
  • Ad hoc management support

Qualifications & Skills

  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude – including a great telephone manner, working well as part of a team and the ability to remain professional under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task in a busy environment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Design suite and the ability to learn new systems quickly (training will be provided on our own systems)
  • Attention to detail

Role & Benefits
